Sunday saw us travelling to Maidstone Grammer school for u9 and 11 games against Kingfisher.
The U9s were up first and were very excited to be playing again and really impressed with some input from aspiring coach Ellisa. We did really well, getting lots of shots and although initially there didn’t go in they kept going and slowly began to build a lead. They did amazingly well in defence stopping kingfisher shooting. By the end of the game we had scored 10 goals and not conceded any. Well done team you were great and very well done Elias who scored 9 you and your team mates were brilliant.
Next up our U11s. We had two debutants in the team with Orla and Aimee having their first experience of Kent league korfball.
It was a great display of quality korfball from a team of very young players. What was lovely was the comradery and every player did their bit. Although we had beaten kingfisher a few weeks ago we weren’t complacent and it looked like they had some stronger players.
We were shooting on site and the goals just kept going in. By the end of the game we had scored 31 goals and conceded 0.
Well done all truly amazing and thanks to team managers and parents
