So today we took our last trip of 2019 to Snodland for a triple header against Bearsted with U9s, 11s and 13s all playing.

Our U9s started the day with an amazing an amazing game. We talked about enjoying the game, having fun and playing for each other. Each member of the team scored and we won 15-0. So in 2019 our U9s have played 4, won 4 scored 35 goals and conceded only 4 goals.

Next up our u11s who were unbeaten coming into today’s game. We made some changes today with some players missing. Thanks Finn and Fredrike for stepping in and Orla and Aimee who continue your devopment.

It was the tightest of games and clear from the beginning that both teams wanted the win going into the Christmas break. We started a little tentatively and were not our usual selves we turned the ball over a lot which gave Bearsted confidence. The game was on a knife edge and with seconds on the clock looked like Bearsted might inflict our first defeat of the season but up stepped Ollie scoring at the death resulting in a 7-7 draw, unbeaten status secured. We will rest and reset fir 2020.

Last up our u13s looking playing their 2nd game of the season. This again was always going to be a tight affair. We started with 2 unanswered goals but they pegged us back and it went goal for goal up to half time. Second half started in the same way but we did manage to get our noses ahead. Great goals from Elissa and Jacob both playing up from u11s and Kush who stepped up with 4 goals. A great captains performance in defence from Isobel. Again every player played amazingly well to see the game out with an 8-4 win.
