So no senior games yesterday but plenty of junior games to report on.
Our Kent squads had games beginning with our U9s who took on KV hoping to keep their winning run going. This was the hardest game they played so far but their team spirit and quality shone through. They played so well and deserved a 5-4 win, very well done team.
Up next our U11s who were also looking to keep their good start to the season going. They faced Bearsted for the first time this season so a bit of an unknown. We had Isla in the team for the 1st time and the team looked strong from the start but Bearsted were tough opponents. That said we again outscored the opposition and took a very good 13-7 win. Effective communication was part of the team talk and will feature at training this Friday. We’ll done all and to charlie who put in a great defensive performance.
Last up our U13s with probably the toughest game and their first of the season against tornadoes. To use that we’ll used football cliche it was a game of two halves. The first half was all tornadoes and we didn’t click. Second half we gave very strong performance and edged it but the damage was done. Some positives to take from this game and work to do at training. We’ll done done team.
