What a great day for Bromley korfball club.
We had a gap in our hall booking due to the 2nd team not playing and therefore decided to invite our U13s and U11s to an impromptu training session. It was also an opportunity for our senior coach to see the future of the club and fair to say he was impressed with both age groups and met them and offered some words of encouragement. Many of the youngsters stayed on to watch our senior team take on local rivals Croydon. We hoped it would inspire our youngsters but it may may have inspired our seniors who up for the battle. It was a game both teams clearly wanted to win. Bromley got off to a great start getting a couple of early goals then Croydon pulled a couple back. the game for deadlocked on 4-2 to Bromley. It was back and forth with both defences on top. At half time it was tied at 5-5 so perfectly set for for a full on 30 minutes of korfball.
