Our only league game this week was a first team battle between Bromley 1 and Supernova 1

Before the game both teams stood head bowed fir a minutes silence to mark the passing of Frank Sieber. Frank had done so much for youth Korfball for Kent and England. He was a decent man with a big heart who was warm and welcoming to bromley who started playing junior games in Kent some years ago. Frank always had a kind word for us and we are proud to have known him, you’ll be sadly missed Frank but what a legacy.

So our first team began the game in dominent form though not being clinical with the multiple early chances. As with last week we let Supernova back into the game with multiple turnovers. It was all to play for at half time but we lost our way midway through the second half and Supernova took a four goal lead but we weren’t finished and reversed that to a two goal lead with minutes to go but to their credit Supernova scored twice and it finished 21-21.

A point gained and top of the regional league right now.
