New Head Coach – Johan Oosterling

Bromley Korfball are very pleased to announce the appointment of our new head coach, Johan Oosterling. Johan began his korfball journey playing in Holland as a child and became involved in Korfball in the UK through his son’s participation in one of the BKC breakfast clubs.

Initially playing at BKC and then Croydon KC he subsequently moved to Trojans becoming a coach assisting Gary Brooks winning 4 EKL titles and 1 bronze medal at the Europa Cup. He was also Head Coach of the Scotland National Team for three years in which they qualified for 2 European Championships.

In agreeing to join Johan commented, “I am really honoured that BKC appointed me to be their head coach. I am looking forward to be working with such a fantastic group of people, players and coaches and am looking to help contribute to further growth and success for the club. It’s a great club where my korfball journey started, therefore this is a fantastic next step for me”.

We anticipate exciting times for BKC.
