New Season

We hope you are all having a fantastic summer, and enjoying holidays and time with your families.

Just wanted to give you a little up date on our plans for the season ahead at Bromley Korfball Club.

Firstly we are pleased to announce the appointment of new Head Coach Ross Carr-Taylor who will be overseeing our Senior squads. Ross has been both a player and coach at National league level and after spending some time liasing with him over the last few weeks we feel he will be a real asset to the progression of the Senior set up for our club.

Senior club training open to everyone will be on Wednesdays at Langley Boys School from 7.15pm to 8.45pm. (This session is aged over 13) but we are hoping our senior players will be on hand to help coach and give guidance in theses sessions to some of our new seniors coming up from u13 this season.

On Thursdays there will be training for Senior 1st and 2nd teams and this will be on a selection basis only at this time. This will be at Monks Hill Sports Centre in Selsdon from 7.30pm until 9.30pm

Junior training will be 6pm until 7pm on Fridays but will move to Langley Boys from September as the hall is bigger for our ever growing junior side.

We will also be moving u13 training to this session for next year.

Fees are just being considered and these will be out in the next few weeks after our next committee meeting.

School club details are now out and clubs filling quickly which is fantastic news. We are also hoping to have some School leagues going for primary school, and also looking to go back to Hayes Secondary School to do some training.

We currently have a couple of vacancies in our commitee, we are looking for a new Treasurer, plus a Secretary and offers to help with social events to raise money for our club to purchase kits and equipment.

If you are interested in any of theses roles please contact Bill or I for more details.

We are all really excited about the year ahead and looking forward to seeing you all soon.
